Well certainly the more complicated learning takes place after birth. A baby can do things outside the womb that it cannot do inside. Yet if an individual is truly a blank slate at birth, that would mean that preferences and personality develop from birth forward. Would parents in the class agree that the child had no preferences or displayed no elements of personality in the womb?
