1, Refer to the Minimization of Bullwhip Effect section in the Module Nine lecture document. One of the bullets says that the lead time may be reduced by submitting electronic orders. How else may lead time be reduced? Will transportation cost change with reduction in lead time? Discuss with examples?

Briefly discuss how the function of planning impacts quality in the supply chain you are using for your final project. Describe how ERP or MRP systems could be used to support the master production schedule and whether you would recommend the use of just-in-time strategies.
