- Based upon the various definitions and
conceptualizations of terrorism, freedom fighters, nationalists, etc., do
you think Eric Rudolph was correctly labeled as a homegrown terrorist by
the author? Should he have been labeled as a domestic terrorist? Or,
simply a criminal for his illegal acts? Or should he be considered a “rebel”
fighting for a worthwhile cause? Support you answer and position with
citations and literature.
3. Homeland security has now become an interagency, and
interoperability, effort. Describe how local, state, federal, andNGO entities are cooperating (or not
cooperating) to fight terrorism in America. Provide specific examples, and use
citations and references to support your post.
4. Discuss a civil liberty or right that has been constitutionally
provided at the federal or even state level, that some feel may have been
violated due to counter terrorism efforts since 2001. Identify the right,
liberty or freedom. Explain what the violation may be, and which counter
terrorism action you think causes that violation (legislation, an intelligence
action, military action, police action,etc.). Give specific examples and use citations and references to
support your answer.
