Abstract

This
paper seeks to tackle matters to do with religious discrimination. It aims to
analyze the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 particularly regarding
its applicability to religious groups. The religious groups of interest in the
paper are Orthodox Jewish, Hindu and The church of Latter-Day saints. The paper
shall address issues of affirmative action legislation. The paper shall
describe what affirmative action is and relate to some cases where the
affirmative action legislation has been employed.
