Be sure to focus on the questionable objectivity associated with program evaluations, the interference of political considerations, and the inadequacies associated with mixed or conflictual program goals in your answer and use examples to support your ideas.

What can be done to reverse the declining involvement of helping professionals such as those in our field in the formulation of social policy? Be sure to discuss the informational needs of our postindustrial society as well as the specific skills required to effectively engage in the means of analysis by which information is developed, organized, and interpreted.
