1) Do you think that organizations can make a profit while doing good? In other words, can businesses still be profitable while supporting social and environmental initiatives (i.e. renewable energy, ending poverty, supporting charities, partnering with non-profits, reducing carbon emissions?

b) Do you think that a primary focus of organizations should be on promoting good (i.e.social and environmental)?
c) When you make purchase decisions, how important is it to you that the brand/company is invested in corporate social responsibility (CSR)?
d) Pick one of your favorite companies, do a little bit of research, and tell me what kind of CSR imitations the organization supports. Make sure to look at their advertising to see how they promote CSR. Did you learn anything new here? For example, did you know that the organization was so invested in CSR or perhaps you learned that the organization is not very invested at all in CSR practices. Discuss.
2) Watch the following Ted Talk by Audrey Choi:
a) Discuss how the talk corresponds to your assertions made in step 1. For example, does it support your opinion that organizations can make a profit while promoting good, or does it go against your belief that organizations cannot both be socially and environmentally conscious while also making a profit. Explain
3) Tell me the last time that you spent money on someone else other than yourself. Why did you do it and how did it make you feel?
4) Watch the following Ted Talk by Michael Norton:
a) Discuss two things that resonated with you about the talk. For example, you could discuss how the things you learned relate to your own personal experiences or if there are any marketing implications.
