Biological Bases of behavior
Based on what you have read in your book, please answer the following:
1.) Knowing that millions of dollars are spent each year on brain research, name at least two (2) reasons why research is important and how it helps us progress forward when studying the brain and the various diseases, etc.
2.) In the Criminal Justice field, research is often geared towards studying the brain of serial killers, psychopaths, and schizophrenics that have committed violent crimes. Do you think that it is an area that deserves research, even though it is expensive, or do you think it is money that could be spent on other areas? Justify/ explain your answer.
