Assignment 1 Ethics is the study and practice of what is good, what is moral, and what is best. Even though there are
many different approaches to ethics, everyone has some theory of ethics. All people have their do’s and
don’ts. The term "environment" refers to the total set of surrounding conditions – those that are natural
and those that are constructed by humans that support the existence of life. Every person lives within
and depends upon for that environment for their sustenance and survival.
First set of Questions:
Describe the ethics (ethical principles, ethical theory, and/or ethical practices) that you believe in and
attempt to live by.
Describe your understanding of the concept of the environment.
Describe your understanding of the relationship between humanity, including yourself, and the
environment.
Describe what ethical guidelines or principles you believe in and follow regarding your interaction with
your environment. What ethical principles do you believe humanity as a whole should follow in its varied
interactions with the environment?
