Assignment: Impact of key factors in urban development (policy report)

This policy assignment is devoted to the following question: Discuss the development of cities and the
factors that were pivotal to the development of urban areas. Which factors were more important in the
evolution and sustainance of urban life?
The assigned policy reports will focus upon a particular issue and ask you to address the following factors
within a 2-3 page report (double-spaced and times roman 12 type). The particular parts of the report
should include:
1)
Nature of the question or assigned issue. Briefly explain the nature of the issue in 1-2 short
paragraphs.
2)
Explain the Importance of the issue. Why is the issue significant to the explanation of an
element within urban sociology?
3)
Provide some facts or information in regard to the assigned issue. Explain the conditions
surrounding the creation of particular situations.
4) Discuss any possible solutions to the problems discussed above.
