Writing Assignment
Find an article from the internet, magazine or newspaper that relates to a technology that is covered in the textbook except CELL PHONES. The article should not be older than June 1, 2016. The article must have an author and publish date. You are required to type 1. A summary of the article (in your own words) 2. Tie the article to the textbook (The textbook is one of your sources and I am looking for you to address what the book says about your topic.)and 3. Give your opinion of the article. Show me what you have learned in the course. Explain your ideas in detail. Write this paper to someone who has not had this course. You should separate your ideas with paragraphs. There should be an opening paragraph and a closing paragraph. You don’t have to do a Work’s Cited page as the only 2 sources you will be using are the article and the textbook.
Written requirements:
Upload the article with your paper. Your paper should start with a title page with your name, the date, the name of the article, the author’s name and date of the article (The title page is NOT included in the 3-5 pages, but should be the first page of your paper). The length of the paper should be three to five pages (750-1300 words) typed in a 12 point font double spaced. I expect college level writing. Spelling and grammar will count!! Proofread!!! If you need help writing or proofreading contact the Student Success Center. (Don’t wait until the last minute)
**You should upload your assignment in a Word file rather than typing it in the assignment window. Make sure you include the article. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE YOUR PAPER INTO THE COMMENTS WINDOW.
