A few of you mentioned that father absence can have a negative impact on the emotional and social development of the child. As I think of it, there are at least two types of absences. The father could not be in the home, or the at-home father could be emotionally unavailable to the children.Class, do you think both kinds of father absences are equally harmful? Or, is one more harmful than the other?
