Find 3 examples of corporate acquisitions (in the press – they must be public companies) and discuss them, relative to the material in this section. Please post a discussion thread for at least one of those, and tell us what you think about that acquisition.

How difficult do you think it is for companies to actually achieve valuable synergies when they acquire or merge with other companies? Can you think of examples where synergies were achieved? Think about the Strategy Implementation unit (Star model). What does that mean for companies acquiring other companies?
