1. Introduce yourself –
Please introduce yourself to the class by telling us a
little about yourself.
Tell us what you like that makes you unique or what could be
of interest to the class, but here a few topics to spur your thinking of
possible iems to include:
Are you close to completing your degree? Where you reside?
Are you near graduation? Do you currently serve or have you or your spouse in
the past served our country in military?
Do you have a particular interest in the subject of transforming Human
Resources to a more strategic function? What is your current job? What
organizational technique do you find helpful to get all the work in a course
completed on time and in good form?
Greet at least one student!
2. Provide a
definition of both, the word “strategic” AND the term “strategic human resource
management”.
Use at least one scholarly source to support your
definitions with respective in-text citations.
3. After reading all
the material assigned, summarize why the authors recommend that many HR
functions within organizations need to transform. What are the end results the
authors are looking for in the transformation? Be sure to provide in-text
citations and sources for the information you present.
Use at least two references and interact with at least two
classmates.
4. Review the SHRM
case study and report on whether you located it or not. We will use it for our
written assignments.
No need to interact with another student.
