The purpose of this practical exercise is for you to create a Training Management job aid. According to, ADP 1-01 doctrine should not and does not prescribe solutions to problems. It can only provide insights on how to approach solutions. There is a place for checklists for some specific tasks. However, Soldiers do not solve most problems by recourse to checklists and standard solutions. Instead, they solve problems by creatively applying various principles, tactics, techniques, and procedures in unique combinations that address each problem as a distinct situation, whose solution can be informed by experience.As a senior NCO one of your many responsibilities is to ensure that training is planned, resourced, rehearsed and conducted to standard, while ensuring that the Army as a whole can function effectively in its combat role.
This practical exercise will help with the input from your peers to develop a training management job aid. You are a Battalion Operations Sergeant. Your unit is training for deployment to the Operational Environment in the ATROPIAN IRON OPORD.
Using the principles of training, create a training brief outline, identify available training tools, and identify organizations who support training. Spend no more than 90 minutes to complete this PE.
