five American adults experience a mental health issue, and 1 in 25 Americans
live with a serious disorder like schizophrenia, major depression, or bipolar
disorder. You have likely known someone affected by a disorder. In your initial
discussion post, share an example of how you have seen a particular disorder
affect someone in real life. Share the following information:
- What was the disorder?
- How did it affect the person?
- How did it affect how others perceived the person?
