Imagine an investigator has a bias
and is not fully aware of its presence. This investigator has designed a study
to test the differences in performance on intelligence tests. Create a
realistic statement about the study objectives the investigator might present
to the participants at the beginning of a study. Write the statement in a way
to possibly alter the results obtained from a subset of the people and not from
others. Imagine you are a research assistant, working with the scientist, and
