Scholars of adolescent development have long debated whether or not adolescence is a time of “storm and stress” (i.e., a natural period of heightened conflict, stress, and upheaval. This debate continues to this day. For this discussion activity, it will be your job to weigh in on this debate.
Group A: You will argue that adolescence IS a time of “storm and stress.”
When writing your argument for your side of the debate, be sure to explain your reasoning clearly. Also, a good post should include evidence to support the argument. You can find this evidence both in the textbook, and in the article I’ve attached at the bottom of this post. Evidence may consist of psychological studies listed in either text, expert opinions, and logic. In each case, make sure you mention where the evidence came from the article and include the page number where you found that information.
