Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wanted equality for all. He was such a great man with a great vision. Whenever I have the opportunity to hear special programs based on his speeches, I participate and it always gives me chills. The thing to consider is that when we start a person off as disadvantaged, this disadvantage continues. You mention this to when you talk about educational equality.
How can we overcome these issues and why are these issues still haunting us all to this very day?
I think a truly equal society will begin in the home, but how to we achieve this? Do you have any ideas?
