Must be typed, 3 to 4 pages double-spaced (10 to 12 font only). Choose a topic from Ch.
1, 2, 3, 4 or a combination of those chapters. The purpose of this report is to use critical
thinking by applying what is learned in class to real situations in our lives or in society
today. You will write on the topic giving a background and the key concepts of the topic.
You will then write your own reflections on either what you learned about this topic and
what you found interesting and/or how this topic relates, has been observed, or used at,
for example, the workplace, home, or society.
You must use the Reeve’s textbook as one of your references. If needed you may use
other resources such as books, articles, discussion board responses and case examples.
Answer the following questions:
1. What is the topic?
2. What are the main points of the topic?
3. Reflection: What have you learned? What did you find interesting about the topic?
Can you expand on the topic that you have chosen using outside materials? Have you
observed this topic of interest at home, school, work or society? Give details. If you have
not personally observed it then how would you take what you learned and apply it to
home, school, work, or society? (If you have not experienced it, you can use stories you
find on the web or elsewhere of people who have or you can use articles of studies done
on the topic)
