Drawing mostly from the readings and some from the film: The Story of the Birth of the Modern Women’s Movement, please describe how Second Wave Feminism (Liberal Feminism) is a hegemonic feminism that is critiqued as a white, middle class movement narrowly based on equality between men and women. Address how Third Wave feminism is much broader than gender and involves the necessity to address other ideological and institutional barriers associated with race, class, sexuality, nation, and/or disability.
