Unit 6 discussion
1. Do you believe that using games in the classroom is an
appropriate use of class time? – Reflect on this. Then, find a game – can be
educational (as in found on PBS) or not (as in plays on xbox). Discuss how you
could use this game in the classroom. Describe the game. What would students
learn? Content or skills or both. In a paragraph or two, summarize the game.
Post the link. And provide a screenshot of the game.
2. How can you use a mobile device (ie ipad) professionally
(in or out of the classroom)? In a paragraph, discuss a strategy that you could
use to implment then in a class (or work). You can discuss an app you would use
or just in general how you would use them.
3. Find a game that could be used in schools or corporate
settings.
