- The deliverable for the project is a PowerPoint presentation of 12 to 15 content slides.
In this project, you will function in the capacity as a Chief Knowledge Officer to an organization, either accessible or researched. You are not to write your presentation as if you are a consultant. I want you to write as if you are a part of the organization you have chosen and have the ownership of the knowledge management processes and the senior position to make things happen.
Required Elements to include in the Final Project Presentation:
- Student’s will select a real existing organization/company to research and build this presentation on a knowledge management analysis and strategy (NO MADE UP SCENARIOS. DO NOT INVENT scenarios that don’t exist and DO NOT start randomly sticking in KM terms). Please be specific to facts.
- YOU are the chief knowledge officer of the company, not some middle manager. you own the KM processes; you are telling the other senior officers of the board what the current state of KM is in the company, what needs to be done to improve KM in the company, how that will align and support the company’s strategy, and how it will improve the company
- The presentation should include a statement of your objective as the CKO and the strategic alignment of KM to the organization’s mission.
- Students will assess the organization’s KM strategies, structures, positions, and processes through a SWOT analysis.
- Students will make recommendations based on course materials regarding KM strategies to improve the organization.
Required Formatting of Presentation:
- The deliverable for the project is a PowerPoint presentation of 12 to 15 content slides.
